Its taken a while to get the loft in shape but now witness the power of this fully operational games convention room. LoftCon is go.
Stop that immediately
Yes, it's modern element I am most interested in. Although if I had more time I'd want to play all those games.
Thanks, funnily enough we were saying that there isn't a decent game in this space atm.
Interesting, is it a minis game or a plausible air combat game?

I’m a Russian speaker from Eastern Ukraine, just happened to be born in London. My family, my friends, our whole community speaks Russian.
Russia claims to protect us. In reality, they stole our homes, tortured us, killed our friends, shattered everything we built. They even sentenced me to death.

They came back broken but undefeated. The Ukrainian POWs released from Russian captivity were hollow-eyed and traumatised —victims of brutal torture and starvation. Their suffering is a reminder of the inhumanity of war and the price of defending democracy and sovereignty. Welcome back home, heroes.
Some great analysis by Craig Caffrey:

"In 2025 Europe is set to spend more on the procurement of military equipment than the U.S. for the first time since the Second World War. From the perspective of the scale of market demand, Europe has gone through a remarkable transformation."

What does Littoral Commander -- a board game available on Amazon -- tell us about a U.S.-China war? Long-range missiles and missile interceptors are key -- and the best way to survive is not being detected by the enemy. My latest for Business Insider.

A new board game simulates how a US-China war would be fought
A Marine veteran designed the $75 board game "Littoral Commander," which simulates a US-China war in 2040, to show people how modern wars are decided.

Eighty years ago, enemies laid down their arms.

Since then, we, Europeans, have built something extraordinary: a Union of peace, democracy, and solidarity. An anchor of stability.

Our Union was born as a peace project, and it remains one today.
Well it seems that your worst cover beats mine. That is something I thought I'd never say.
Game vending machines at the airport. Perhaps with the tarrifs we will soon see Duty free Asmodee or GMT options.
Ive just moved house and for the 1st time in 20 years I can hear Ice cream vans circling around my new home. I can hear them but I am going to have to get alot fitter to find them.
Anyone got any idea how many hours it will take to empty a fully packed up 1000 square foot Flat With 4 people? Probably about 80 boxes worth of stuff.
That's my evening sorted
Sorry this is completely overshadowed by the news that Hans Zimmer wrote the theme tune for the student quiz show favourite Going for Gold.
With Russia increasingly drawing on men in their 60s and 70s it reminds me of John Scalzi's "Old man's war" scifi book series. Except they don't get new bodies or great kit and their contracts always get extended for the next meat assault.

OTD in 2022, Russian ambassador to US said "Russia recognises Donbas as a part of Ukraine, does not have any claims on Ukrainian lands, does not have plans of any attack".

So you can believe it we promise to stop.
Genuinely great WW2 film, wag better than most so called classics
If there’s a WW2 war film that it really would be good to have a modern remake of, it’s San Demetrio, London. Based on true story of a tanker attacked and abandoned, then reboarded by some of her crew who put out fires, jury rigged the steering, plugged leaks and navigated by faith #NavalHistory

This is 9-year-old Sofiia Yavorska from Poltava. Yesterday, a Russian Kh-22 cruise missile killed her along with her parents when their home was hit.

The strike on the residential building has now claimed 12 lives, including 2 children.
My big fat obnoxious boss, a 2004 spoof of the Apprentice, was pulled after only 5 episodes. All 10 episodes are on YouTube. It's absolutely outstanding, you can't top someone trying to create adverts for plastic surgery for the deceased.
