They're arresting peacefully protesting reverends

What's to stop them from arresting you next?
I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Still thinking about the playlist at Johnny's Tavern last night

It went from Metallica to polka music to MCR to Depeche Mode to pop country to punk. There were more jarring transitions, I lost track

Whoever was in control was on one but I kinda dug how chaotic it was

Who among us isn't doing some light 9 figure money laundering while sipping a cianti while telling the wife to cut the next line of coke
Eric Trump: "You can send $500 million worth of bitcoin on a Sunday night at 11pm while having a glass of wine with your wife for virtually zero fees."

Not that I wanted to be right, but I've been assuming he's stealing the money since the first time he boasted about all the money coming in and refused to say where it was going
Oh, so he totally stole the money

Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

A few things

1) You can just say thicc six
2) Texas A&M forced almost the exact same turnover in their walloping of mizzou yesterday. As a sad Jayhawk fan, thanks for the reminder Texans, lol
3) And a Chiefs fan, thanks Texans!

Seth is a great read if you're a Chiefs fan. Heck he's good even if you aren't one, the way he breaks things down is so easy to understand

Seth knows ball
I wrote yesterday about Patrick Mahomes' film in Chiefs/Bills.

The gameplan wasn't one I liked, and the OL struggled, but Mahomes had his own stuff that added to the issues. Worth a read to get the whole picture.

Patrick Mahomes Week 9 film review; Blame to share
A lot of blame has gone towards Andy Reid and the OL, but Mahomes wasn't faultless.

The stadium for the Kansas City Current -- whose construction 40 banks refused to finance because there had never been a professional stadium built for a women's team -- just finished its second consecutive season of sold-out games.

No One Wanted to Finance Their Stadium. Now Every Game Is a Sellout.
Building a professional women’s soccer venue was seen as brash. Now the Kansas City Current’s is a blueprint for others.

Part of me is starting to think this is just another way of exerting control. Use the wider shutdown as an excuse to shutdown the airspaces and make it much harder to get in, out, or around of the country

Kinda makes sense since some seemed almost eager to let the shutdown happen
I legit can’t figure out the play on these FAA flight cancellations. Who’s the White House trying to pressure. And who do they think people are gonna get mad at when Thanksgiving goes down the drain?

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Ah, I see Markwayne Mullin went to the Mike Johnson School of Answering Questions
COLLINS: But the argument from Republicans is that Biden used an autopen for pardons and didn't know who he was pardoning. Trump is openly saying he did not know who he was pardoning.

MARKWAYNE MULLIN: He said it was recommended to him. He gets a lot of recommendations. He pardons a lot of people.

Don't threaten me with a good time
