I think the h-mart discourse on tiktok has thought-provoking ideas coming out of it. I think my largest takeaway from these discussions are that, we in minority cultures, have been taught to shrink the distance and openly share our non-norm (anything but middle+upperclass white) 》

Yeah she should have gotten no marks. The essay is double spaced, lacks punctuation in spots, isn't enthralling to read at all as it has no interesting tone & heavily relies on the simple sentence structure, and that's just the start. I saw someone say that this is below 10th grade level, I agree.
