Hello, I'm Becklo!

I'm a photographer and graphic designer in Detroit, Michigan. I like to take pictures and make stickers.

I do not like advertising myself. But alas, new year, new me. Or something.

No joke, I was sick for almost two months after that day and I was wearing a mask while I was in there. I finally had to get antibiotics. I was very uncertain of its restoration viability, so I'm really impressed with the progress just from the outside!

My realtor, who is one of the best people I know, is sending this mailer out in the Ypsilanti / Ann Arbor area, so please keep your eyes out for this if you're out there. But she pretty much covers SE Michigan and I highly recommend you hit Jo Cook up if you're even curious about homeownership.

When I suddenly found myself looking for a house, we went on a tour with our realtor, Jo Cook. My MIL mentioned a house she saw on Zillow for $30k so Jo Cook took us to see it.

I'm so glad this is getting restored because it needed a LOT of work.

Long story short: we were house hunting and my mother in law saw that this house was for sale for $30k. Our gem of a realtor was like, "Well, let's go see it!" And then we did and I got bronchitis immediately after hahaha

My grandpa would've turned 96 last week and it made me think about one of my favorite photos of him: laying down in his front yard with a camera to take a picture of a cat on a leash.

If you wonder why I am the way I am, here's example number one.

I like watching this channel about melting wax and making stamps when I'm feeling chill and creative. There's no talking, but there are English closed caption subtitles explaining the process.
