This is the vice chair of the Democrat caucus straight up saying that even if Dems win the midterms, they might not impeach Trump.
Rep. Ted Lieu, a California Democrat and vice chair of the Democratic Caucus, said there are "a diversity of views" about impeachment in the caucus. He said that House Democrats intend to conduct oversight of the administration should they win a majority in next year's midterms but that a win at the ballot box did not guarantee an impeachment vote. "I think you would have to have an investigation where you actually talk to witnesses and review documents and look at, you know, video and listen to audio. You need to do all of that before any decisions are made," he said.

DID YOU KNOW that actress Stephanie Powers was very intimately involved with railfanning the Pacific Electric in its final days with her brother, Jeffrey J. Moreau?

If you've grown up watching the Herbie movies, it's interesting to find weird connections like this. More info in the alt text.
Stefanie (center) has her hand on PE steeplecab No. 1610's pilot at the West Hollywood carhouse in 1951. Her brother Jeffrey (right) was part of the Electric Railway Historical Foundation (ERHA) and was a highly prolific railfan and historian. A lobby card for Herbie Rides Again (1974), featuring Stefanie Powers as Nicole Harris and Ken Berry as Willoughby Whitfield. Robert Stevenson returned as director following 1969's "The Love Bug" with story writer Gordon Buford and script writer Bill Walsh. This was the first film I ever watched at 4 years old and it explains a lot about me. Jeffrey J. Moreau's biggest contribution to railfanning was publishing a complete history of the Central Californian Traction Company with David G. Stanley in 2002. I am proud to own a copy I bought used at a steam-up and it is a DOORSTOPPER of a book.
