Civilizational pride comes first. Safe/healthy air quality in Indian cities?

Advertising vs. news.

Abeyaar, pehle aapas mein decide karlo what is Aadhaar for. At this point, the only thing Aadhaar proves is that you succumbed to relentless Government (voluntary, but mandatory) pressure and got an Aadhaar, and nothing else.

Every year around this time, Delhi’s air hits 'please don’t breathe' levels. And every year, like clockwork, the 'pollution normalization' ads arrive.

Nasal sprays, chyawanprash, air purifiers, 'clean air zones'… all telling us the same thing: pollution is here, it happens - just buy something. 1/8

How many more BLOs need to die because of BJP and EC's manic rush to complete the SIR? Why didn't the EC plan it ahead instead of rushing it and killing Indians recruited as BLOs in the process?

We have BJP in India, the world's largest human washing machine that takes in "dirty" (in public perception) leaders from other parties, and "purifies" them as they join the party.

Truly terrible that things have come down to this level 🤦‍♂️

"What is essential is a clear directive restoring the burden of accurate enrolment to the ECI rather than leaving citizens to prove that they belong on rolls they have been on for years."

Very interesting story that involves really detailed research. But after how the WaPo story on LIC+Adani was buried collectively in India (Indian media—including Mint—reported only LIC's denial, not the actual story), this too would get a 'nothing to see here' treatment, no doubt.

Oh my God! This is phenomenally effective communication! Fantastic narrative device with the right amount of exaggeration that lands the message with a bang, while also sending chills down the spine of the target audience (parents of young children)! Excellent work by the Irish agency Core Creative.

If only the civilizational upholder aka BJP was ruling Bharat and Indraprashta, the capital's data on pollution sources won't be 7 years old. Shame on all the opposition parties for doing a pathetic job. Unleash the 278 eminent personalities on them again.

Two different young Indians die in identical accidents involving rusted basketball poles falling on them, both in Haryana (Rohtak and Bahadurgarh)! Two more 'accidents' to feel sorry about with, "India is not for beginners" and swiftly moving on to civilizational pride.

Adequately rage-inducing billboard messages, right? Go the website (tinyurl.com/replacementai) and try clicking on any call-to-action. You are in for a surprise!

I first thought Air India had left a Vistara leaflet behind by mistake. Then I realized that this was different :)

It should remind people of Rameshwaram Cafe but it cannot copy that name directly either. Here's the result (in Marathahalli) :)

After all these years, having kaapi at Hatti Kaapi for the first time ever... at T1 (arrival) Bengaluru. Not as good as Cothas at T2 arrival, but still very good coffee.

BJP's logic: It's already a monumentaly polluted river, what more can silicone defoamers do is we use daily? At least, the spraying can help us whitewash our PM Ji's image as the one who "cleaned" Yamuna.

Displaced (ethnic strife made worse by BJP) people who wanted to be reinstated into their own homes before BJP can show All Izzzz Well by conducting festivals 👎
Vs.
BJP reinstating Lord Ram, with adequate pomp and honor 👍
Janta not Janardhan. Only Janardhan is Janardhan.

Student: Delhi air makes it difficult to breathe.
Delhi Police: How dare you call Delhi's—now ruled by the pious, deeply-devoted-to-Gods noble party BJP—air as 'difficult to breathe'? Let me give you an alternate way to breathe with difficulty under 'this location is not approved for protests'.
