I’ve always loved looking at other travelers’ scrapbooks, and I like to use a fun incentive to encourage @ricksteveseurope.bsky.social tour members to virtually preserve their memories: I bribe them.

Every year, I host a scrapbook contest, and the grand prize is a free Rick Steves tour!

I’m someone who really loves learning from real people who quite thoroughly know their shit.

I also really enjoy interacting with interesting people who have led lives.

These would not be radical statements 15 years ago.

Ok, so what are the interstate signs like in your state? NY apparently spent the money to round the corners to match the outline but PA chose to leave the corners hanging out. Have you ever noticed this? (I never did until sis-in-law pointed it out.) Which look do you prefer?

Kanagawa Prefecture may be the latest government body in Japan to adopt a four-day workweek for government employees. The move follows Tokyo and multiple private businesses as the country strives for a better work-life balance.

Is it 'Winter' or 'winter'?

The seasons are common nouns, not proper nouns, so they are not usually capitalized.

They should be capitalized when they are the first word of a sentence or in titles, and in cases where they are being personified, as in poetry.
