I went in blind after DA:I and sort of bounced off because I was expecting much more of an RPG, but its an action-RPG with a capital "A", however its a solid action game and definitely worth recommending to fans of that genre

3. Mentality: a good roguelike should be set up so you derive enjoyment from experimenting with the gameplay mechanics and stress-testing your builds rather than actually beating the game.

A good roguelike has three elements:
1.Gameplay: It needs a fun/engaging loop that doesnt feel like a chore.
2.Variation: it needs to have enough variables that each run is unique, preferably right from the start.
