I’m glad they walked out. Standing up for their rights was the best solution, and to do so en masse? Perfect response.

I’m interested in seeing the upcoming stories. I’m hoping their gloves come off and the Pentagon news stories get bolder.

1974 - An interracial stabbing at Hyde Park High School in Boston, in the school’s main corridorled to a riot that injured six other students and a teacher.

The National Guard was mobilized to restore order in the Boston school desegregation busing crisis.

1971 - Memphis police beat 17-year-old Elton Hayes to death.

The killing led to riots and upheaval in Memphis, echoing the unrest from the 1968 sanitation workers' strike and the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
