If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net

Please contribute if you can, money is raised to serve Alaska's homeless
Youth, many are visible here on our Anchorage streets.
For the last 5 years Ive joined this event in solidarity with homeless youth in AK and raise $ to provide housing, food, and support.

Most years because of twitter/bluesky users I outraise oil co and executive types. A lot of you give a little, and it adds up

It’s worth thinking about these almost 50 people who lost their homes last month in an Anchorage fire. Most can’t find housing. What are all the people from Western Alaska going to do? Alaska has a housing crisis. #akleg #akgov
Nearly 50 people were displaced after a fire swept through Ravenwood Condominiums in Anchorage last month. Many are still paying mortgages and fees on homes they can’t live in.

“I don’t sleep much these days,” Sarah Witmer said.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Alaskans know how this works now. People come from the lower 48 and take the majority of the so called “Alaskan jobs” while foreign and domestic corporations take Alaska’s wealth and destroy the environment with impunity.

Here are four graphics that show how much the PFD's purchasing power has changed over the years. UAA economist Brett Watson says they tell us "as much about how we think about inflation or the things that we buy as it does about the dividend itself."
