Mass deportations were a key part of Trump's campaign & the GOP's platform this year.

He's stacking his administration with extreme anti-immigrant hardliners like Stephen Miller & Tom Homan.

We can expect to see brutal human rights violations. What can we do to reduce the harm?

Chomsky is such a great exemplar of the anti-antifa politics that were widespread in the Left prior to 2017 -- specifically a total rejection of the core antifa planks of Three Way Fight and No Platform.

This is why Chompers defended genocidaires and wrote defenses of holocaust deniers.
Well, there's a photo I never expected to see in my life. Noam Chomsky palling around with Steve Bannon.

Neighborhood bystanders follow them into the forest and film them, harass them, and shame them until they leave.

To be fair, and as I mention in my book detailing why batshit antirealist takes among postmodernists flourished in the US, the US has a *long* history as fertile ground for wingnut conspiracy shit. This vastly predates the 70s. Pomos didn't create this, they propagated justificatory narratives.
Anyways, read “Did The Science Wars Take Place” by @rechelon.bsky.social which thoroughly discusses this turn into anti realism from the Nazi Heidegger through postmodernist embrace of various bullshit. It’s really a book for this time. And if you can’t afford it it’s on the anarchist library free.

It's trivially clear that the liberal march from the stadium would not have meant or affected anything and it was the (largely anarchist driven) lockdowns that disrupted the ministerial. The bloc was a minority of anarchists present, but no less heroic for that.

Something annoying about efforts to find hypocrisy is that condemnations of bad things are bundled with condemnations of good things.

Yes, it's true that Trump pardoning drug traffickers suggests his "narcoterrorist" justification for bombing boats is insincere.

But drug prohibition is immoral.
