megabonk looks neat but the lack of a real low/rec spec disclosure AND the capsule art looking kinda like AI art """style""" (to me, at least) I'm a little turned off from it

like it's yellow tinted and has a weirdly high amount of detail on some of the strangest things. it makes me uncomfortable

its crazy on the dev front. i went from 137 wishlists at the start to 252 right now

its not a lot but it's done WONDERS for my motivation!!!

i do feel bad that i don't have much time to play demos anymore, though! but i also didn't really have money for games anymore either lol

I'll be SO real, I hate marketing. so I figured a next fest demo that was a complete experience would be a good way to get the game out to people, with some free promotion from next fest helping out too.

and then if people are interested, the full thing (with commentary) is free on itch already!

my game's demo is kind of just... the whole game? minus some bonus post game content

its a short platformer about accessibility settings and why they're important! about 5-15 minutes long, so it's quick.

i did a bunch of developer commentary so that'll be in the full release!

i remember a game on my old OLD iPhone where it was rock paper scissors, but you could send messages before you choose. like you can say "I will throw rock" and then throw scissors

does anyone else remember this? I can't track it down, and so my brain is telling me I should maybe re-make it

I have never EVER been so into a racing game before, but wow. sonic racing crossworlds is incredible

I have almost every time trial A rank on both of the available speeds and i KINDA want to go for S ranks next. its so fun to improve my driving but by bit, this is what sonics all about!!!

i used to REALLY not like stuff like this, like anti-player design. but over the past 3 years I've really grown to appreciate the thought and intention behind that kind of design!!! i think it's really neat now even though it usually kicks my entire ass
