He's probably the most straight analogue to an existing RPG class as a Monk since he's just a really really good punch and kick merchant with fire attacks

Enkoku is a DPS/tank hybrid who can take and deal absurd amounts of damage. He's also really hungry for a 1-on-1 fight so he gets stronger the more he's targeted and he has a move where he can force a duel between him and an enemy by making a ring of fire around them
