I eventually learned that if you attempt the Bottles Bonus Jigsaw puzzle before collecting the notes in the Autumn Beehive. Which I just happened to complete a few days ago prior to note hunting.

The only solution to get the full 100% is to start over from scratch.

I spent way too long looking for the missing four notes in Click Clock Wood, following guides, checking over and over again.

Only to find that a glitch in Banjo-Kazooie XBLA and Rare Replay prevents collection of the final four notes needed for a full 100% and last achievement.

Oh wow, that actually looks mint. It would save a lot of time performing additional cuts and welds to fix things.

Seems to be in the newer 3DS Max too, very intriguing.
