While Wik was growing up, a large energy dome isolated their village from the larger Ceyaquinn community. So Wik had rare exposure to other cultures that would normally be more insular. Wik became a linguist to study how different groups could be brought together. #lore #indiegame

Seems people are unfairly writing off Metroid Prime 4 due to the companions. That being said, many enjoy Metroid for it's atmosphere, and chatter works against that.

You'd be surprised how well a background in script writing applies to #gamedev. And not just narrative design!
Characters in a story have tactics, ways they approach problems. When these tactics fail, they must adapt to overcome the problem. This is a basic building block of stories.(1/2)
