Wylam played Pratt City in a Thanksgiving Day tilt in Birmingham, Alabama on Nov. 28, 1918, winning 1-0. The match marked a return of soccer in the city after a wartime hiatus & organizers collected donations to benefit the local chapter of the Red Cross.
