writing this essay, i was experiencing grief for abandonments due to OCD/borderline. i reflected on how my relationships ended because others failed to have the courage to question the way in which their subjectivities were bound to sanity while i failed to have the courage to care through suffering

Oh my, there are some clanking errors in this podcast. Apparently, you could be treated with lobotomies and electroconvulsive therapy in Victorian asylums - except you couldn't because they weren't invented until the 1930s. The Noiser Network and the BBC can do better

So much this! One of my personal red flags in mad spaces is the the insistence that *all* madness (especially psychosis/unusual exp & non consensus reality stuff) has transcendent meaning if we only look hard enough.
