I think people should be a lot more honest about hype exhaustion getting to them re:popular things. it's a normal thing to have happen, but I think it's silly to be like oh E33 winning is bad because its fans are annoying and it has to suck ass because of how much praise it has received.

its so funny to get people being like "yet another live action adaptation that devalues animation as an artform... this is just like the live action little mermaid" like it's not a kore-eda movie. I sympathize with the sentiment but you don't know what you're talking about.
