Imagine how much more money companies could make if they stopped ruthlessly framing their adverts to shift as much product as possible to as many people as possible and just pandered to weirdo racists instead!

"The world economy hinges on the success or failure of artificial intelligence. It’s becoming apparent that we are probably doomed either way," writes politics and economics reporter Eduardo Porter.

The Trump administration has a plan to attack China’s shipbuilding dominance. There’s just one problem: It’s unlikely to work.
Why the US’s New Shipbuilding Strategy Is Unlikely to Work
To succeed, Washington will need to look outward, not inward.

For the right, a white woman that sits atop a powerful agency ruthlessly deporting thousands is the “beautiful, delicate, tiny” victim.

People of color with opinions they don’t like, even elected officials, are the violent aggressors.
The "delicate, beautiful, tiny" fascism of Kristi Noem
The right thinks Noem is the victim of Sen. Padilla's assault. But what about Rep. McIver?

Move the World Cup back to Qatar again! Overall more inviting (120F temps and all) than US in the New ICE Age.

But better idea: Move all the games to already planned co-hosts Mexico and Canada. Less random fear for visitors from the rest of the world.
DHS confirmed that ICE and CBP agents will be on site “for security” at the start of the FIFA Club World Cup at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. ICE also reminded non-U.S. citizens to carry proof of legal status while attending the event.
But for a Cup game, Cucurella could’ve been a United player …
fair play, Cucurella really is good at that isn’t he?

A terrible game against a terrible United team that Chelsea somehow found a way to win. You sense they’ll have to do it again vs Forest to hold off Villa, and it will probably be harder
Has anyone informed the Donald yet?🤔😂

IPL has returned from its geo-political hiatus & West Indies players have predictably chosen IPL over West Indies. This has a knock on effect of the tour of Ireland and England.

The government’s abject surrender in the immigration conversation will not necessarily lose them votes. But it won’t win any either because a) for good
or for ill, the small boats are the really emotive issue & b) people who simply resent immigrants will always favour Farage. He’s one of their own.

It is a little weird to me countries aren’t more aggressively, formally trying to take advantage of the U.S. science brain drain. Once in a lifetime opportunity to buy low on Non-Dumbass Americans with PhDs who just wanna look into microscopes and quietly cure ass cancer as our country eats shit.
