Masanori comes from a combat/otome game and is, game lore-wise, the protagonist's central companion (think like paimon genshin but if she were crazy obsessed the traveler) and is actually a complimentary three-star character in the game :D he's VERY popular though and gets a shit ton of merch

devin's girl feelings are definitely highly connected with her little feelings, i think. she wouldn't have intrinsically known she wanted to be a girl without first wanting to be a *baby* girl. i think the dysphoria was there no doubt, but far better hidden than her jealousy over TJ.
