No, we aren't. Because you refuse to listen to them. You aren't engaging with what I'm talking about. We make valid criticisms about how democrats do absolutely nothing to stop literal nazis, and the only response we ever hear back is "do you want the nazis to win?"

We're never allowed to criticize democratic leaders. You are always using the looming threat of the next republican presidency as a cudgel to avoid holding your own elected officials to their word. To sidestep left wing criticisms that, on the surface, dem voters proclaim to align with.

She'd fail to appease Trump's base, piss them off further, and do nothing to curb the authority of the executive branch or normalize power in the judicial, meaning if, god forbid, trump is still alive in 2028 they would be worse. Whoever replaces Trump is going to be worse. Dems don't seem to care.

"We'll push him left after he's elected." And then for 4 years it's either "it's too soon to expect anything from him" or "elections are coming up, stop criticizing democrats." For 16 years democrats have pushed out progressives and left leaning voters while they chase right wing votes.

We've been sounding the alarm about this since bush. I'm sure the ones older than me have been talking about it since before then. We begged you guys to get biden and others to defund ICE, but we were told that we were being histrionic crybabies. For 16 years I've been told to "suck it up."

I'd rather elect people who want to address it, but instead the democratic establishment can only seem to provide options who refuse to acknowledge the dire situation we're in, or seem to be completely okay with quietly enabling it while voters keep hands over their eyes and fingers in their ears.

It's sitting on a powder keg while liberals ignore it. There is no "preferable" situation here. They're both bad, and the fact that democrats are incapable of addressing it is horrible. They're SUPPOSED to be the ones who fight back against it, not silently enable it until a republican finally wins.

Frank, bud. The criticism wasn't "she would be no better than Trump" it was "she has not done, nor ever will do anything to counter the rising populism that Trump panders to."
