Persuading through marshaling data driven evidence, science, and moral suasion. In the words of U.S. District Judge William Young.
The object permanence isn’t strong with him. Like a two year old.

If he were going to wrestle with anything he would have long ago.

Thank you! If they're published by Tor (US or UK) or from @subpress.bsky.social, they should be DRM-free anywhere you buy them, and if they are not, I will not complain if you take measures to make them so. If you actually purchase my books, it's my opinion that you own them, period, full stop.
I love that your ebooks are DRM-free on @bookshop.org

If you were to count the items we’ve intentionally brought into our home, dirt for plants would be number one, grains of rice two, and books three. I still maintain more than half of the cables are not obsolete, though I wouldn’t bet much on it.
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

My name is Charlie Brown. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
No, no, no, no, no, Charlie Brown. Both you and Jennifer turn out fine. It's your kids, Charlie Brown. Something’s gotta be done about your kids!
I like you, Charlie Brown. That is why I will kill you last.

Not to mention the nepotism alone would’ve sunk anyone who had a shred of shame.
Pretty remarkable that Trump has installed someone on the Saudi dole — Jared Kushner collects millions in fees from the Saudis every year — in a key role for America's most sensitive and consequential foreign policy negotiations (Gaza, Ukraine), and it is largely TREATED AS A NON-STORY

It’s not. But when no one even tries to enforce it, it might as well be

It’s still common sense. We just realized how many people utterly lack it.
November 24, 2025 at 1:06 AM
Has anyone even pretended they’ve tried to improve these?
