Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.
I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.

As if to prove my point, the payout for a shop i work with on consignment came through last night and I almost cried at how much more it was than usual bc of holiday spending.

I've gotten super excited any time an order has come through in my shop because it helps with groceries and setting aside money for pet care, etc.
My holiday sale runs through December 14th. Consider snagging something before it ends.

It sounds silly but it's nice to have reminders like this pop up from time to time. I'm just one person, and I'm doing my best.
if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.

Morale at paypros call centers is in the toilet right now. It’s not just normal Black Friday stress, they’re being pounded. Corporate is pressuring bosses to end the paypros call campaigns. Source familiar w/ internals at MC stressed that folks should stand their ground but be kind to agents (1)
