Because “economic indicators” almost exclusively reflect how wealthy people are doing, and data collection and reporting even on those has been purposefully sabotaged, there is very little understanding of how poorly the economy is doing, or how precarious our own finances are.

Hardly the main point, but _acting_ ICE Director. They're doing all of this without even fully confirmed agency leadership, even with the Senate majority (plus feckless Democrats who will vote for anyone). ICE hasn't had a confirmed Director since the end of the Obama administration.

The U.S. currently has more prisoners and a more sophisticated system of concentration camps than Nazi Germany had on the eve of World War II in 1939
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

We are seeing the beginnings of a new assault on elections for this year and 2028 now. There are myriad plots, some of which could work in concert. This includes visions of the Insurrection Act and ICE at polls, the Patel/Gabbard inquiry, local election board takeovers, SAVE Act, and voter ID.
