I'd go with a "safe" hire and get Nagy. He has a track record of getting good work out of his QBs, he made the playoffs twice with Trubisky as his leading passer, not to mention getting the best years out of Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney.

My hot take is that if an NFL HC is fired, every person on his staff should get the option to opt out of their current contract.

This seems a bit unfair. For one, offensive head coach Sean Payton should be getting a lot of the blame if the Offense isn't up to par. That being said, the offense statistically seems to have done alright for the motley collection of guys they have.

Let me start by saying I completely understand wanting work with Herbert, Hampton, Ladd, etc.
But if he wants to be a HC again, there's no quicker way to make that happen than developing the first overall pick (Ward) into a star and helping turn the Titans around. 1/2
