My funny head canon for Toy Story 2 is that Andy’s mom works for Nintendo or someone she knows does, and that’s why Andy has an SNES console with Nintendo Switch 2 level graphics.

Nintendo felt the world wasn’t ready for them until 2025.
Movie posters in general are an underrated art form and Drew Struzan was undeniably one of if not the true goat of that, much like what John Williams was to movie scores.
RIP legend
The greatest thing about Drew Struzan is that he reminded us about something that is generally taken for granted, and that's the artistry that goes into making movie posters. You never see this level of craftsmanship anymore because it is agreed that peaked with him. He truly was a legendary artist.

I think it works best with archival voice recordings, at least with the approval from said actor’s family, because their only reusing the voice and not the full likeness especially with the help of cg or ai. Examples like Paul Newman in Cars 3 or Robin Williams in Once Upon a Studio.
I think its good that studios keep inserting dead people into movies, it highlights their natural ghoulishness and makes it more and more likely we'll have strong likeness protections going forward

To me, a live action remake of an animated film is the equivalent of a photographic recreation of an impressionist painting. Not only is it pointless, it fails to understand the artistic value of the original intention. All they are is unnecessary and a waste of time and money.
The creators of ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ have dismissed the idea of making a live-action adaptation:

“It’s really hard to imagine these characters in a live-action world. It would feel too grounded. So totally it wouldn’t work for me.”
I really don’t want people harassing this guy, but he really has a serious Disney hate problem. I remember he once even made a post showing a picture of a bus that should be compressed in the crusher simply for having a Moana 2 advertisement on it.
Current animation reviewers when anyone says anything remotely positive about Wish or any recent Disney movie;
From Platy’s review of Wish on Letterboxd. He even puts a link to AniMat’s Wish review when talking about how “certain” people still defend this movie.
How I sleep at night knowing I’m from a country that doesn’t celebrate a holiday that glorifies a genocidal coloniser;
-cause at least one of them eventually led to Schindler’s List.”
Hey guys I have a question, which is worse;

Wish: A mediocre/bad Disney animated film that’s just a piece of fiction that didn’t do anything truly criminal, or the literal holocaust, where millions of innocent Jewish people were slaughtered and dehumanised by evil nazis?

“Duhh Wish obviously,-
You have to be THIS terminally online to compare a mediocre remake to a tragic historical event. And I thought Diaz Station was bad.
Good to see humanity as a species still has some common sense.
Thank God. We do not need another merger between film studios.
Even though Diane Keaton has died, on the plus side though, Ian Watkins has died too, because no-one mourns the wicked.
I mean, I know no-one deserves to die the way he did in a brutal prison attack, but given what he did, he had it coming.
Trust me, you don’t even want to know about his crimes..
Not again!

Personally I’ll always remember her for films like Father of the Bride, Morning Glory and Finding Dory among others.

She was definitely a staple of so many classic comedies such as many of those from Woody Allen and notable dramas like The Godfather trilogy.
Diane Keaton has passed away at the age of 79
I honestly cannot be more proud of Caddy for making it to the point of becoming the narrator of an official game trailer.
Congratulations!
Yooka-Replaylee is out now on... well EVERYWHERE! 💚💜

The open world 3D platforming epic with hundreds of collectibles to discover, an evil capitalist bee to defeat, and a snake in trousers await!

It's bigger. It's better. It's Yooka-Replaylee!
del Toro is a true saviour of animation especially stop motion in this day and age. It’s just too bad that the community took all the wrong lessons from his famous words; “Animation is Cinema.”
Guillermo del Toro and Netflix have announced plans to form a new stop motion studio that will be both a studio and a school to push the medium forward and will develop plans to make Del Toro's next stop motion project after Pinocchio. I'm very hyped to see what this leads to!
At least in this case, it’s not a product originally from Disney and if we’re going to see what happened with the Minecraft Movie this year happen again, then I’d pick Simpsons any day of the week, that way I’d probably have a chance of leaving the theater alive.
Great. Another Disney vs. other studio situation.
The Simpsons Movie 2' and 'Minecraft 2' both release the same day 🍿

On one hand: She might be able to do a solid performance.

On the other hand: Another Live action remake;

"This movie I don't like is made by AI" has got to be one of the worst and laziest bad faith criticisms I've seen yet.

It's incredibly insulting to the humans working on those movies, and an "AI movie" will be so bad that even the lowest rated movies will look good by comparison.
I honestly didn’t even notice the projected faces when I went on Frozen Ever After cause the girls behind me were screaming their heads off throughout the ride especially on the drop.
-sure if I’ll be able to recover. I want to thank everyone who’s been supportive and I hope to be feeling better soon, but in the meantime I’ll probably be a lot less active on social media for a while. I’ll try to post whenever I can, but I need to put my personal life first for now.
I apologise for the lack of activity recently. I’m going through some real struggles in my personal life including preparing to move to a place I don’t really want to go, my lack of a proper job and my dwindling relationships. It’s been taking a real dangerous toll on my mental health and I’m not-
Honestly, on rewatch, my thoughts are more negative this time around. I could be wrong and it turns out enjoyable, but at this point, I’ll not be looking forward to potentially saying that Ralph 2 is better and looking like this;
-doesn’t immediately turn everyone off.
I remember reading and really liking the Twits book in school as a kid and while this does look like it’ll be quite different in many ways, it does still look decent. Maybe not amazing, but might be pretty fun.
Just hope the fact that the director of RBTI is making this-

I will admit I’m not too familiar with the Moomins and I’ve only seen a few episodes of Steven Universe, but this does sound very promising. Maybe not a movie for me, but hopefully it’ll succeed for the big fans of those franchises.
Annapurna Animation has announced they are making an animated film based on the Moomins that will be written and directed by Rebecca Sugar. Already, hearing that the studio that saved Nimona is teaming up with the creator of Steven Universe is enough to make me super hyped!
