I have had screaming pain like this 3 times in my life now.

Once when I was dying from Sepsis.

Again, when I was recovering from my first heart implant surgery.

And again now, from the recent repair surgery.

Screaming stabbing mind numbing pain that will not fuck off, even with the fun pills.

Painkillers and bad movies today. Recovering day 2.

Yesterday my wife stayed home, and realized just how much random stuff I do in a day to keep the house vaguely tidy and running.

Heya! Surgery went great! Got good news, new parts, heart is doing great.

I am in sooooo much pain, it's not even funny. I'll be down for a week or so, just...not moving much. Promise I'll be back to work ASAP.

I run into the same thing with my hypnosis work.

"I can't jerk off to this" said of a file meant to help you sleep, or said of a video where your eyes are meant to be closed...it's just their weird obsessions getting the better of rational mind.
