I'm watching this for the first time, Shannon, and I am having a real hard time with it. The way he talked about Hispanic people, given this is recorded in 2016, is so much of a harbinger of everything that came after.

This is the New Common Sense. Politicians who can actually look at a situation, notice how bad it is, and propose a solution which makes things better for everyone.
People are choosing a politics of decency, courage and imagination.

They’re choosing a politics that doesn’t scapegoat the vulnerable or remain quiet on injustice.

People are choosing to make hope normal again.

It is absolutely wild that the guy who won’t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly what’s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

Musk IS a hostile foreign actor.

Trump is pushing Zelensky to accept a deal before Christmas, giving him just days to respond, FT reports. The so-called peace plan would force Ukraine to give up territory in exchange for vague US security guarantees.

Once again, Trump acts like it's his call to decide Ukraine’s future. It’s not.
