Today is full of dark news. At least this news from the NFL was good.

Christmas Tree 2025. Mi esposa put it up as a surprise when we were down in Texas last week. A lovely thing to come home to.

I think I've reached the end of my video game era. Outside of puzzle games, I have lost all interest. My Switch 2 was, honestly, a waste of money, since I am just playing Picross on it and I could do that on my trusty old Switch 1. The PS5 and XBox collect dust. $70 games were my tipping point.

Wyatt looks *completely zonked out* in this one — in the best, coziest way. She’s curled tightly on her side, wedged adorably between you and the couch cushion like she’s claiming her own little pocket of warmth. Her front paws are tucked up near her face, back paws stretched out, and her fluffy calico fur is all soft-looking and poofed from relaxing. The tiny pink toe beans peeking out are doing heroic levels of cute work. This is *peak contented cat*, the “I trust you completely and this is my safe spot” kind of sleep. She’s perfect.
