So the discussion about DC and Puerto Rico statehood is not about whether it makes sense or not in terms of policy, but rather how they would vote. Very Republican.

Why do they depend on federal funding? I think that's the equivalent of receiving welfare. They should get off their asses, work and start being self-sufficient without relying on handouts.
