I had no idea this was a thing!
It’s so weird seeing something so new among much older stuff
Subway, trolley/tram/light rail, and bus foamers be prepared. Lots of pics coming later today from the Seashore Trolley Museum
If the Bills lose to the Falcons and they end up tied with the Patriots for 1st place in the AFC East I’m going to laugh my ass off
Most of the New England portion of my rail map (generally c. 1940 with some exceptions) is done! Tell me what’s missing in this photo that would be accurate trackage in about 1940!

Paulinkskill Viaduct in New Jersey. Part of the Lackawanna Cutoff. "When completed in 1910, it was the largest reinforced concrete structure in the world." Soon to reopened for trains.
Watching the Yankees lose to the Blue Jays as TV shows B roll of Roger’s Centre with the Toronto Railway Museum in the foreground *chefs kiss*

This one's cool because I caught the view from outside at Railfest. This is Baldwin Locomotive Works #26 at Steamtown NHS in Scranton.
See fun things like old abandoned infrastructure from the CNJ and LV, active NS and the R&N rails, and beautiful views.
Hello Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway and Reading and Northern! If you’ve not walked or biked the Lehigh Gorge Trail or seen the State Park I’d highly recommend it! (7/5/25)
It’s incredible watching massive pieces of equipment moving around. It’s also nice that 15 is going to be displayed as the first thing you see entering the park. Thanks to Jamie for always covering interesting things (especially in the rain!)

The Tunkhannock Viaduct was part of a massive infrastructure project in the 1910s by the Lackawanna Railroad to reduce grades and straighten curves along its main line from Hoboken to Buffalo. I quite like this bridge.
It’s time to revisit this one except it’s more important now
Really good looking 4-8-2. I also love the Boston & Maine’s R1d Mountains!
