All this screen free parenting and screen free schools conveniently omits to discuss how schools insist on ten apps, take fingerprints to pay for food and share children’s data with third parties via edtech or the government. We just focus on phones. And that will come back to haunt these people.
It's quite snug 🙂🎃
Maybe it's just my friend group, there's little buzz about it and I don't see the contestants doing so well on instagram

It's my least favourite of these shows, I get so annoyed at their incompetence. Maybe knowing more about the craft is actually worse
I actually would be surprised if it does well. Sewing bee seems to have run its course (I didn't watch it at all this year) and the audience of knitters is smaller than that

I do feel bad for the judges though, who are serious knitters
Yeah, I can't imagine it either. They had a one off jumper competition on kirstie alsopps Christmas show, which I mainly remember for the actual worst jumper winning, and then it turned out the winner was a family friend
There is a well established format of 'presenter who doesn't know anything about it but is funny' which works very well on pottery throw down and reasonably well on sewing bee, but it isn't that either. He's not a presenter and from what I've seen on celebrity traitors definitely not funny
100% agree but I've just looked it up and I don't think he's a judge at least. I mean, can you imagine, what would he even say?
Ok fake news, he's not a judge! He's the 'host'. Still pisses me off though.

My husband was telling me about an England women rugby player who crochets around the games. I bet no one is giving her books and shows and products/ she wouldn't accept it
He is THE HEAD JUDGE? Ok, thats
a step too far, I am defo not watching it then. I can just about accept him as the not involved in the judging presenter, although in that case I would still have preferred someone experienced in either presenting or being funny

This is now an anti Tom Daley account

Another Adam and Joe catchphrase, my husband just did it 'oh, my nipples'

Amazing how these are all still around for us
Ha, I'm not the only one feeling iffy about Tom Daley and knitting
Looked it up now, it's not about a baby. The thing that's screaming is the world. Tells you something about my state of mind that I immediately thought screaming baby even though my kids are 10 and 12. That sleep deprivation was something
It arrived from the library. One chapter in - strange, but promising.
I don't really know what that is. Would it change anything?
I can actually live with that. I've never called it St James quarter anyway, cos it's not a blinking quarter, it's a shopping centre
But 38.1k is the median salary, which is presumably where they got ghat from. So half the population by definition are out
Actually, that thing I found was *disposable* household income, which I'm not completely sure what that is and it's not immediately obvious from the publication and I'm about to go to bed so won't look it up.
It's higher than median *household* income, so most of the population don't earn that. It's fully made
I am quite ambivalent about this knitting show, because why are we giving another man that is barely competent a platform when there are thousands of women experts at the craft. Either get a proper presenter, or a proper knitter!
