The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.

here's my tierlist for Pokémon's mainline entries, with a caveat that I haven't played some of these in many, MANY years (like. the last time I beat Black was when I was in middle school) so I'm going off old memories for a handful of these. i'll update this if i replay those.

And that's Pokémon Ultra Moon complete! Big fan of this one, maybe a contender for my favorite Pokémon game ever? It's close, at least. The beginning's a bit slow and the story gets... messy at the end, but gameplay-wise this is maybe the best the series gets. They made a kinda hard game for once!
