I'm tired & achy now but it was a good day. I got to spend it with my favorite people & it was just lovely.
I don't get days like this so often that I can take them for granted. This one will live in my memory for the rest of my life.

First learned this story watching an episode of the Netflix series High on the Hog (S1:E3) called Our Founding Chefs. Eye-opening episode, really great series.
