Bluesky moderation is insane. Actual adult content shows up on feed with no labels, a body of a pregnant woman is somehow a problem

Except they don't. They don't leave. They'll cheat on you and ignore you at home, but they don't leave. There's still too much benefit for them in staying. So they'll make her life a misery while continuing to enjoy all the unpaid labor.

How supportive is he of *you*? Sounds to me like he could be doing a good deal more and then some.
I long for the day when women don't automatically expect/accept being exploited in the name of being "supportive". It's gone on for too goddamn long.

If you marry this man or even just live together, every single thing you share- food, furnishings, car, personal items, all of it- will be subject to his grabbing it for himself. Even if *you* paid for it. Once you're living together that won't matter.

Women who prefer solitude would have that, women who want a crowd of supportive friends could have that. A nominal buy-in for most, & something like scholarships for those who couldn't afford it otherwise. Weekly or bi-weekly group meetings for commune business followed by a big potluck or BBQ.

If I had piles of money I'd buy a big plot of land somewhere with a reasonably nice climate & found a women-only commune. Something with little individual cabins, & a big sprawling house for those who prefer that. Gardens & art studios & libraries & a communal kitchen for big celebrations.

It reminded me of those toys with plastic pins in a frame. You press your hand or a small object into the pins and a raised relief shows up on the reverse side.
