The upcoming Avatar fighter has amazing hand drawn anims. And they made Zuko's scar not flip sides when the character switches directions. They did not just mirror the model. IN! A! 2D! FIGHTER! FOR! EVERY! GODDAMN! SPRITE! FRAME!!!! They even made the portraits in the UI stay consistent. Damn!

Serious question. Like I would hope someone has insights: Is there simply little to no news on studios opening/expanding? Or is this just underreported because of some sort of doom-bias? I understand the games industry is fucked, but is there really no push and pull?
