There's nothing wrong with faith. But if your worldview is "2 plus 2 equals God" you're just being lazy. If you want to defend your stance on the number of genders, work with facts. I know, it requires study and research. It takes more time than citing God and calling it a day.
Worth noting that the student admits that she just threw the thing together in 30 minutes without reading the paper she was supposed to be responding to.
