I have it on good authority that this is a storytime hit. Crow seems cranky - all the bird does is CAW! But crow will save the world when the call (literally) comes. Delightfully fun illustrations and a repeated Caw! add to storytime charm.

Using fold out pages, each month of the year is shown from the perspective of a large estate farm. Plants, animals, garden harvests, temperature, and more are explored for each month. For studies of Seasons, this is a fine title for comparison purposes. Good choice for classroom use.

Roscoe needs new shoes, but he likes his old puppy slippers, which are soft and so comfy. Ivy puts the new shoes out for Roscoe to see, and he eventually warms to them. Written for neurodivergent children & their parents, it has helpful tips. A non-didactic book that all kids can enjoy.

This is a fantastic collection of poetry by black poets, beautifully illustrated. There are haiku, long poems, short poems: the variety really is curated to appeal to many Indexes include author, title, and first line, making it a useful classroom resource. Highly recommended.
