For any unfamiliar with the quality of journalism at Teen Vogue, it's well known for hard-hitting stories on "politically sensitive" topics including climate.

Then there's CBS: the only major network to increase climate coverage in the last few years. They just axed nearly their whole climate team.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
It’s amazing how much I’ve come around on them. Crossing my fingers they keep going until Jesse Eisenburg finds himself the new Don Toretto.

People on here will post anything. 'Baseball games have 9 innings.' No they don’t. That isn’t true.
The financial forces are overextended in both. Credit Default swaps have been back for a minute. One pops, and they’ll try to recoup in the other. It’ll be different, but when nearly all of year's GDP growth is one sector, the erasure of that will impact all others
I am moving right now, and my TV is in my bathroom, so @thethomasmanning.bsky.social is being a real one giving me the play by play over the phone.
Took over a decade to sell the house my family listed like 3 weeks before the crash. Felt lucky compared to those who lost their homes.

This time, someone’s going to complain about how the banks took their AI work wife away. And also people will still lose their homes.
Seeing her recent concert in Charlotte, her opening presentation talking about the need for public transportation funding on the local level was rad.
Burying the leade: in her bullying she seems to hint that Trump plans on nationalize local approval of AI Data Centers, a pretty substantial thing.

Sinema is a serial liar ofc, but if I’m a betting man that’s a talking point she heard.
Kyrsten Sinema, Dems’ former corporate villain, shook down an Arizona city to approve her client’s AI data center.

She’s now leading an advocacy group for AI companies and has her own business lobbying group.

Same reason people buy knockoff Berkin bags then pretend they’re real. It’s just knock-off slavery.
I bet half of em only read the tweets
How I learned about bad-writer-Matt Ylga-whatsisface last year was overhearing two mid-level pol-PR dudes say “did you see what he just tweeted about that” when discussing the popularity of a political stance.
I also like his build, stepper motor aside. I feel like the attitude isn’t just a post-digital attitude, but a post-Influencer attitude. Like the rise of “movieguys” who recommend (and take sponsors) for movie reviews, but do not practice criticism. The Takes Economy in full force.

this is what happens when you make the Looney Tunes free for all. access to the Looney Tunes is a human right. Tubi should be a public utility.
According to Tubi's head of acquisitions, "LOONEY TUNES" has become one of their "top-ten best-performing series," and is popular with viewers across generations.

He says they are in "active negotiations" to ensure that Tubi can be the home of Looney Tunes for "quite a while — likely years."
That’ll get them the $7.7 bil back
Following the Skydance merger, the Bari Weiss hire, and a $7.7 billion UFC deal, Paramount is reportedly planning to lay off 1,000 employees on Wednesday, with another thousand on the horizon.

When Trump was nominated in the summer of 2016, it gave the GOP a chance to reboot their image with the public. Instead of fine-tuning, a reboot needs to be the DNC plan.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

[looks around for jake tapper] hey man, do you, uh, want to write about this?
Trump: AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard…

The first couple of questions are easy. A tiger, an elephant, a giraffe..
They’re calling it the best career. The brightest and most enlightened. The most inside the beltway even.
Wait this is written by the guy who did the Deniro nonsense show earlier this year?
