Sorry, building websites is for us serious manly man engineers now who can do very difficult things like making the computers go beep boop.

AI coding is a divisive issue.

I find that my colleagues tend to be more negative in pull request when they know I have used AI.

Until Anchor positioning, there was no way of knowing where links would show up on a website
Until TypeScript, every line of code was written out longhand in cursive
Until JavaScript all Java was passed down via oral tradition

@scope is one of those things I go super excited about when I first heard about it.

Now that it is here, I can’t think of a single use case for it.

Well I though about two @property and @keyframes, but none of them work with @scope :(

I always assumed User Personas was invented to avoid talking to real people.

Is that not the case?

Or do you take real people and call them “Marketing Mary” and give them a poodle and tell them they like Thai food now?

New onboarding cards for @nordcraft.com launched! 🥳

Pretty happy about these.

Click the tool cards to learn more about a specific tool.

Sometimes I wonder if all those “built only with CSS” demos actually make people think that is desirable when building websites?
spans and divs are, to me, similar to table layouts back at the turn of the century. something that was used to get around what HTML couldn't do at the time. But if semantic HTML can do it, then we should let that happen.
Sure the end user won't feel it, so why bother with ANY semantic HTML, then?

So Christmas is over but all I want for next Christmas is

.container {
animation: 0.5s slideIn;

@keyframes slideIn {
from { translate: -100%;}
To { translate: 0%;}
}
}

Watch our very own @svenning.io use the Nordcraft AI to make a button accessible! ✌️
I recorded a quick walkthrough using @nordcraft.com AI to level up a basic button I made.

Being able to tweak design and logic visually with AI is super powerful in these cases.

I gave Claude a summary of everything the @nordcraft.com team has achieved in 2025.

Based on the result I can only conclude that our team massively out performs top engineers at Google.

🥳
Jaana was a distinguished engineer at GitHub and is now a principal engineer at Google.

I expect more testimonials from accomplished engineers about productivity gains of AI in 2026.

Engineers claiming AI tools don’t work well will increasingly look like a skill issue than a problem with AI tools

One AI use case I am really exited about is designing the invoice page for SaaS companies.

There is 0% chance that it can do worse than what we have today.

Why we are building @nordcraft.com

Reason #37
The speed of react compiler and the corresponding eslint plugin is what currently blocks adoption at @sentry.io. Dev startup time went from a couple of seconds to 40 seconds, linting time doubled to over 4 minutes!
Had an 'upgrade to vite 8' PR running for a few weeks, and got it feature complete. Here's the rough difference in build timings for our vite projects in a monorepo from 6 -> 8.

Looking like the react compiler is now ~90% of the build times for puzzle.com

The original post has the same tone as those “programmers are going to be out of a job” posts.

Like he was never able to write good code but now it is his time to shine.
Can't wait for the loosened up, non-perfect, but quickly shipped AI-enhanced updates to hit my banking and insurance services next year.

Im sure there will be no issues there at all.
