Tim Walz: "People are gonna be lined up out here to get food, and we're talking about a damn ballroom. Don't lose the plot."
Really? That's not the barometer reading I'm getting from folks in Maine! Especially if/when the Feds defund the SNAP program.

Hey @amyfagan.bsky.social - do you agree with @lisamikolajczyk.bsky.social - that Susan Collins would beat Graham by 30 points if he's the Dem Nominee?

We are standing with advocates across the country to say that hunger is a policy choice.

USDA has the authority to sustain SNAP, just as it has in past shutdowns.

Hungry people can’t wait.

The federal government is refusing to provide transparency and failing to use the contingency funds set aside for this exact purpose. The Trump Administration could stop this. Congress could stop this. If that inaction continues, the state must be prepared to step in to protect families from hunger.

⚠️ SNAP benefits do not have to be delayed in November as a result of the government shutdown. More than 1 million people in Massachusetts use SNAP to buy food each month, and families will feel the impact immediately if benefits stop. This crisis is preventable. #ProtectSNAP #SNAPmatters

Yaaas Amy... Mills is obviously running scared because of Graham's 30 point lead over her so of course her team had to dump some garbage on him. Not gonna work.
Are you serious? He apologized for what he said after he returned from FOUR TOURS for our country.

That's more than what Susan Collins has done for the harm she brought to Mainers. Not to mention what our current president does on a daily basis.
What pisses me off is how much money our wealthy government is giving to the billionaires... from our hard earned tax dollars... while we're expected to cover the food banks cuz SNAP and other government assistance programs are ended.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 79th day out of the last 91.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.
