If y'all see me post something up here and it suddenly disappears, that's usually me.

I'm very much a borderline perfectionist when it comes to writing.

Doesn't help either when there's no edit button so I can't fix glaring text errors.

So, that said, please accept my apologies if I delete posts.
One of the double edge swords of being an anarchist is being a sentient political test.

You put people's claims to opposing authoritarianism to the test when you say you're an anarchist.

But we're the first ones to have to deal with the blowback who fail it absurdly through their reactive replies.

When anyone identifies as a "radical feminist" then they're saying they're right-wingers with a piss poor and incoherent understanding of how women's liberation work.

You can go right ahead and apply the paradox of tolerance to them. They're bigoted fascists and they need to be made unwelcome.

"Bakunin was an antisemite!"

So was Karl Marx and many other 19th century leftist thinkers.

Here's the thing: They're now all dead and I will happily pee on their graves for that shit.

This is the 21st century. The bar has raised where being considered coherent in opposing authoritarianism goes.

Every time I see "Supreme Court" trending in Bluesky, I always hope someone either went full Leon Czolgosz on its judges or at bare minimum into Nepalese mode and burned its building down.

I'm always let down to find out when I check out why, neither one of those great occurrences has happened yet.

The U.S. constitution has the 13th amendment which sports the illogical paradox of abolishing slavery UNLESS it's being used as a punishment for a crime.

Why the fuck are we bothering to try and pretend that document permits freedom and why should we try to save it when it needs to be burned?

This is what happens when you succeed in driving out violent monarchy gimping colonialists but don't get to work in destroying the oppressive nation-state structure they leave behind.

"It's not a war on drugs. It's a war on personal freedom is what it is, okay? Keep that in mind at all times. Thank you."

It never ceases to astonish that liberals would rather commit to be crappy illiterates in not acknowledging that the left starts at opposing authoritarianism.

They would rather go gung ho on bad takes like "tHe LeFt SuPpOrT pOlIcE anD lAw" instead.
A lot of people do not want to hear that there is an intense pro-police and pro-prison turn among the left. E.g. the drive to limit the pardon power, which is the only way some people get any relief from excessive sentencing on the state and federal level.

What Trump gets right and wrong about pardons
Pardons aren’t about helping political allies – they’re about bringing a measure of justice to an unjust system.

"Good luck getting anything done by refusing to work with politicians!"

Not a gotcha.

Most of the things we have today is not due to elitists like politicians.

It's due to working folk using all sorts of direct outside the ballot box actions to attain them.

Stop bootlicking and learn from them.

If Democrats win back government control, they're going to do barely anything significant to pick up the mess their GOP buds made.

Democrats have been openly doing that bait and switch since the 90's.

So how many times do we keep falling for this political Lucy holding the football bullshit?

It's just hit me.

Dialectical materialism is based more on Frederick Engels than Karl Marx.

And Engels, despite claiming to hate capitalism, ran a factory he made no effort to turn into a cooperatively run one.

Well, given that incoherency, no wonder why red fashies adore dialectical materialism.

It's pretty astonishing how if you push the right buttons you can make so many folk who claim to be for democracy just straight up admit they actually hate it and prefer the fake democracy of electorialism.

Here's a good button to push: point out how in actual democracies there are no elections.

I look forward to tanking Newsom becoming president if he gets the nomination not only to deny a smooth talking neoliberal bastard like him power but to make bootlickers like this one cry.

I did it with Harris in 2024 by sitting out that year's fake democracy session and I will happily do it again.
You may have gripes...nobody is perfect, but Newsom has been a great governor. He's an excellent administrator, and if you want to join the circular firing squad which has destroyed progressive politics, be it on you.

Miami Vice as a show is amazing because it does something brilliant in its series finale.

Both of its main police protagonists willfully quit upon realizing they are working for a callous and unfixable elitist institution.

And it even shows them both happier on leaving during the final scene.

Today is the birthday of Errico Malatesta, a tireless anarchist organizer and author active on four continents across six decades.

To observe the occasion, we invite you to read about how he and his comrades organized mutual aid to address the cholera epidemic of 1884.

When exactly did demanding folk who claim to be leftist to actually be coherent in opposing authoritarianism become a "purity test" exactly?

Because the left starts at opposing authoritarianism. You can't be left-wing and still support it. That's an illogical paradox!
December 4, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Defending or trying to paint liberalism as still being a valid and anti-authoritarian political position in the 21st century, despite it clearly being redundant and oppression with a smiley face, is like trying to defend the unsinkable nature of the R.M.S. Titanic while it's sinking into the ocean.

What I like about the Alien vs. Predator universe is its underlying refuge in audacity message.

Even in a universe in where mass murdering aliens who love to hunt butt heads with mass murdering aliens made as biological weapons, the most terrible creatures of all are still capitalists.

If you're in a supposedly leftist group that's clearly become so thoroughly hijacked by authoritarians it's become a polluted reactionary one, then here's the best advice I can give you

Leave.

There's no shame in foot voting and divorcing yourself from it.

It's okay to walk away from that decay.

If AI isn't liberating folk from work and is instead being used by capitalists as a justification to enslave us to it more then it's a straight up failure.
December 4, 2025 at 3:06 AM
If politicians tried doing this with workers during the golden age of worker unions during the late 19th to early 20th century, they risked having the crap kicked out of them for being opportunistic class traitors.

We need that coherent anti-authoritarian energy back again.
The problem with this is that they're both elected officials with real power that they refuse to use on behalf of workers, so they engage in performative solidarity instead of living up to their half of the inside-outside strategy.

After having to deal with so many red fascists who identify as "dialectical materialists", I'm at just considering that their way of going, "no matter what existential evidence you point to that the blatantly capitalist regime I blindly support isn't really leftist, I will immediately reject it!"

This is your regularly scheduled reminder that no party, institution, or organization is going to liberate you. Any promise of protection or support is conditional on their continued desire to provide it; the moment that doing so becomes too much of a bother for them, they will stop supporting you.
