Every major talent that works for ABC and Disney should refuse to show up for work until Jimmy Kimmel is reinstated.

Marvel movies need to shutdown. Ditto the sitcoms.

Collective boycott.

Corporations love money more than anything,& this will harm them and force them to do the right thing.

Next up: multistate organizations to mirror the functions of the former NIH, CDC, and FDA that can review newly developed vaccines and treatments.
Important: Gavin Newsom just announced that California, Oregon, Hawaii and Washington State released unified west coast vaccine recommendations expressly designed to counterprogram Trump/RFK's destruction of our public health system.

This will gain momentum in blue states (see thread below).

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

This study is one of the most important developments in extreme weather attribution science over the last two decades: deaths from Swiss heat waves traced back to specific firms like Exxon and Saudi Aramco. Don't miss Table S7 - it's going to change the way we fight fossil fuel companies.

Frost: We need housing not handcuffs. We have a housing crisis in this country. Every time the rent goes up $100, homelessness goes up 9%… We shouldn’t be criminalizing homeless people for the failures of government

In this essay from 2015, Suzanne Jill Levine recalls a series of meetings with Pablo Neruda. Read it for #WITMonth, and don’t forget to pick up your copy of Levine’s book UNFAITHFUL: A TRANSLATOR’S MEMOIR: wordswithoutborders.org/read/article...

I read the author’s note & as I’m reading the novel, I think I can see the parts she has written with the contemporary reader in mind.

It is not “deal-making.” It is extortion built on Christopher Rufo’s idea of “taking down” one or more elite university.

if you want to have a nice and relaxing sunday, do not watch the new Hulu documentary on Hurricane Katrina. if you want to shake with rage and anger over the total failure of this nation's government and media establishment, watch the Hulu documentary on Katrina (this is a recommendation)
I’m reading the 2024 version of Someone to Watch Over Me. I think it’s my first Lisa Kleypas, since I’m new to reading romance.
