Look at what Canada is doing and know they are not alone. Think about what it means to the US economically - unless the next administrations [note the plural] solidly reject MAGA, it will hurt us for decades.

Even if the man is a suspect, no one, including the police officer, was in danger. This is not the way these things are done. I hope the cop is fired and faces charges of his own.

I attended my first protest today! There were at least 500 well-behaved loyal Americans in Northfield, MN (!) and the main speaker was Richard Painter, who worked in W's administration.

Authoritarianism is boring.
My American friends believe that dictatorships are dramatic with public executions and whatnot. Unlike the movies, dictatorships are unexciting. Life goes on: people get groceries and struggle with bills, as usual.
