I'm glad the hostages have been returned and many Palestinians have been freed as well. Its a big deal.

But Palestinians are still occupied and this extremist Israeli government has said they're going to take Gaza and everything from the river to the sea.

Just a matter of time this explodes.

Israel is retaining control of 58% of the Gaza Strip, including the majority of its farmland in eastern Gaza.

Western Gaza was largely built on top of sand dunes, as you can see from the aerial image in the post below.

If you've never been to Gaza, you won't appreciate what the yellow line means. Basically Israel now holds most of Gaza's small but important agricultural land. Continued Israeli occupation, which I judge the likely outcome, makes Gaza even more unliveable and more dependent on outside goods.

HUGE WIN: A federal judge just issued a lengthy TRO prohibiting the Trump administration from freezing federal funds to Maine over their policies protecting transgender youth.

A legal document titled "Order on Motion for Temporary Restraining Order" from the United States District Court, District of Maine. The case is "State of Maine v. United States Department of Agriculture, et al.," case number 1:25-cv-00131-JAW. The document grants the State of Maine's request to prevent the USDA from terminating or interfering with federal funds based on alleged Title IX violations without due legal process. The court orders the release of frozen funds and prohibits further interference without following required procedures. The document is marked as Document 12, filed on April 11, 2025, and is page 1 of 70.

They called the targeting of brown people of another faith and erosion of civil liberties the “patriot” act so you would feel guilty or fearful for being against it. So you would adopt an us versus them mindset. You were being groomed for autocratic rule all along.
