A pleasure to visit DS Achieve to see their great work supporting young people with down syndrome.

It’s clear speaking to them and their families how important provision like this, and how far we have to go to ensure every child with down syndrome has the support they need.

Britain, and the world, are facing climate and nature crises.

The ways in which we tackle them should always be up for debate and challenge.

But stepping back from a united goal of taking climate change seriously is a big step backwards for the Conservatives and our country.

As a former scout it was a lot of fun to visit Ickleford Scouts yesterday to chat about life as our MP!

As well as fielding some great questions, we hosted a mock parliamentary debate on the topic of whether homework should be banned.

🏥 Good news on NHS productivity

As well crucial investment, we’ve been driving up productivity through reforms:

✅More same-day discharges and shorter stays
✅Sending crack teams of clinicians to underperforming trusts
✅Better use of tech
✅Reduced reliance on agency staff

An important moment, at an incredibly challenging time.

There is a lot more to do to deliver the lasting peace and two state solution the world owes Palestinian and Israeli civilians alike.

But today’s announcement from the UK is a welcome and long overdue step forward.
