Here’s some Charley Patton fan art. I listen to him regularly with my baby and his favorite song is “shake it and break it” from 1929

With what little “extra” time I have it’s been fun to do small pieces celebrating things/people I enjoy.

I created this illustration in 2018 for an illustrated edition of Beowulf. 'Heorot' — graphite, copper leaf, gold leaf, silver leaf, and hydrangea petals on paper.

Currently drawing a nice dog for a commission. I would be willing to do more of these in time for Christmas, FYI
Flick and Clint used to be serious no-nos in British kids comics

Saw it in cinema a few years ago, was an odd experience as audience guffawed and laughed at what were supposed to be tense scenes and set ups that have now been hackneyed to death since, but were fresh in this on release

'Ausstellung Englische Graphik': a poster advertising the exhibition of English graphic art at the Kunstsalon Wolfsberg in Zurich, 1923, as designed by Edward Wadsworth, who put to wonderful use one of his 1918 depictions of Dazzle Ships in Liverpool Docks.
I’ve got a mate Mark Bonar who gave it a good rattle at making it in the acting trade, he had to change his stage name to Mark Kavanagh due to aforementioned Mark Bonnar
I remember when I was a kid in late 80s travelling from Ireland with my mum to aunt in Milton Keynes for Halloween. Was perplexed why there were no crappy plastic masks and other Halloween kiddy stuff in the shops and being told by my indoctrinated aunt ‘we don’t do that here’ 😆
Very good, probably rings true that Lennon wouldn’t give a fig about someone else’s eternal suffering as long as he got what he wanted.
Loved that Revolution in the Head book and format, it was sad to hear of the author’s passing
Yeah, 100% The White Album is full of those September long shadows and distant kids laughter feelings. Love it
Long Long Long used to give me the serious heebie-jeebies as a Beatles-nut teen. That ethereal death rattle at the end, which turned out to be a vibrating wine bottle. Genius finds happy accidents
