I just logged in after a while, here are a few recent pictures - I'm winding down as the tattoo studio closes next week so I'll be without a base while I figure out where to go next - really happy with some of the work I've been lucky enough to do over the last few months though
I'm resting my brain and shoulder, and then I'll look at booking some guest spots. And I've had 4 driving lessons, they're going well! I'm applying for a job and just realised some of the employment experience I'm talking about is TWENTY YEARS AGO
Ok, long hair I can put back in a ponytail with shaved sides is working, because I can sweep it back & be futch, or put it down & pretend to be normal. I want to grow it longer and have queer milf hair ykwim. It also means I can have a really clean feeling haircut but still have long hair as well.
Will I still be skating whenever I can? Yes. Might seem crazy but it often helps - a lot of my problems (not all) are to do with muscle stiffness, myofascial trigger point pain that often requires basically violent intervention, guarding/tension, & RSI from repetitive fine motor movements.
But yeah I was telling people I needed a break and it turns out I really super did. Haven't had a chance to think about next steps for guest spots or new studio yet. Hopefully all these health flare ups will die back soon? I've been physically sick from pain twice. Not even the same pain/issues.
On tattoo hiatus now as the studio downsized and relocated - it may be a good thing I was forced to take a break as I've been in constant pain with health issues for the last few weeks, it's actually funny to me what a cavalcade of horrible pain it's been. That could be the painkillers...
My current youtube good boy comfort watch is the copaganda series by @skipintroyt.bsky.social - what a cutie. Smart and funny. Also it's hot how much he hates the police.

it was really good to hang out and I'm stoked with your head! friendship acquired
A bird from my sketchbook as a tattoo - I've got some flash available and a handful of dates left in July before my books close for the summer

okay and here is my ‘sounds like a shitpost but it’s genuine’ UK heatwave tip: if there is a Saxon or Norman church near you, and it’s open, go sit in it. not gothic, they have too many windows, get you some thick stone walls with some high up tiny windows. they stay cold. and you can just sit there
Baby beavers are the cutest things to ever exist + I dressed as a human today. Didn't actually mean for my hair to be this pink but here we are.
90% of my creative process is what I like to call, 'doing literally anything else'
Someone has asked for a small tattoo of a blackbird in an ink drawing style I used to work in, so i did some brief sketchss - it's been a long time since I've drawn anything, this is the first time I used a pen I bought months ago. I find studies draining but I do like the results looking back.

"Even the thighs?"

"Especially the thighs...."

"What's that tattoo?"

"Just a simple tailor."
I've been designing geometric graphic tattoos but when you're using LCARS etc it's hardly any work at all!
Finished this portrait tattoo of Elim Garak from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine today. Delighted to get to do this. Utilising graphic elements from Michael Okuda's LCARS / Cardassian computer interface design.

Woooo its starting to look like my design! Client works outdoors so all the colours need another punch up. Most of the greens on the right are fresh.
I think he escaped but I look kind of scary huh 😏
Lovely shots by Fish Out Of Water Media. My body is extremely averse to being moved around but the crash test brummies are really lovely and I'm enjoying myself.
We thought the physiotherapist was going to do some physiotherapy but she just sort of didn't
Nah you're good! I'm an awkwardness amplifier. Thank you! It was useless actually lmao
It was lovely to meet you! Looking forward to finishing it :) Hope your energy crash isn't too bad!
