Republicans blowing up the filibuster is kind of a Dem win in and of itself, no? It needs to be done eventually regardless and Dems avoid the blowback of doing it. Plus, the institution of Congress re-asserts its Article I powers.

Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

Many aspects of the Trump era are going to take a long time to recover from. But whoever takes office on Jan. 20, 2029 is going to be able to ameliorate inflation (no tariffs) and energy costs (solar, baby, solar) basically overnight. You’d think that buys a lot of good will with voters
