I was very plugged in to Harry Potter fandom as a teen and basically all of the heavy hitters within that fanbase - book writers, website owners, etc. - have completely disowned her.

They believe “being objective” means abandoning any semblance of humanity. Meanwhile everyone else can see it for what it is: a fundamental lack of respect for themselves, one another, their news consumers, and the profession itself.
