Oh look Bridget’s big boast today is a handful of students getting a bursary

In Scotland with an SNP government there are no tuition fees

That’s how you make education open to all

Instead of delivering support on the cost of living, Westminster is busy demonising people who seek sanctuary.

I will have no part in it.

Transparency matters. That’s why EveryDoctor has created a database tracking donations MPs receive from individuals and organisations linked to private healthcare.

Christina was an exceptional parliamentarian and Minister, a tireless champion for Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse, and a dear friend to all of us.

Many of us gathered in Hamilton today to appreciate her work.

We’ll miss her more than words can say. 💛

I hate reading comments like "Labour have to make cuts to pay for....". It's bollocks. We are a fiat economy, cuts will simply slow economic activity and impoverish millions of people already struggling. This whole 'household budget' gaslighting is Thatchers legacy.

I have more than 410k followers on X and fewer than 63k on BlueSky.

Yet the same tweet about Russian money supporting the Far Right in Britain has been shared fewer than 100 times on X and more than 1,300 on BlueSky.

That's how much of a propaganda tool X has become.

Lest we forget - a moment of reflection
While international comparisons can be confounded by different methods of measurement, the main difference between the UK & other developed countries is that the NHS had been consistently underfunded

Covid exposed a failed #NHS with massive gaps in provision, leading to a huge growth in waits

Congratulations to the senior Tories who, having been told this for a mere 60 years, and staunchly denied it throughout, have finally twigged that it might not be a brilliant idea to have a nuclear deterrent which can be switched off by another state.
