I hate reading comments like "Labour have to make cuts to pay for....". It's bollocks. We are a fiat economy, cuts will simply slow economic activity and impoverish millions of people already struggling. This whole 'household budget' gaslighting is Thatchers legacy.

Congratulations to the senior Tories who, having been told this for a mere 60 years, and staunchly denied it throughout, have finally twigged that it might not be a brilliant idea to have a nuclear deterrent which can be switched off by another state.
